This project consists of an addition phase and a remodel phase of the fire station. The facility provides service to the southern portion of Rockford and the Greater Rockford Airport. This project was built within the security guidelines of the FAA and normal operations of the fire station. The addition consists of structural steel frame, metal paneling and roofing, thickened concrete slab and aluminum glazing systems. The remodeling consists of updating the facility to ADA regulations, new storage racks, toilet rooms, training room and entire roofing system.
